Pedestrian Hospitalized Following Linden Crash
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area of 1600 E. St. Georges Ave. on Thursday due to the motor vehicle accident investigation.

LINDEN, NJ — Drivers are being asked to avoid the area of 1600 E. St. Georges Ave. on Thursday following a crash with a pedestrian, Linden Police reported around 4 p.m.
The single car crash involved a utility pole and a pedestrian, Linden Police reported.
The pedestrian was taken to University Hospital with serious injuries, police reported.

Drivers should expect E. St. George Avenue to be closed between Nora Drive and Garfield Avenue for several hours for the investigation and for repairs to made. Drivers should use alternate routes.
