Cut Your Own Christmas Tree Near Clark, Garwood For 2017

CLARK/GARWOOD, NJ — The Christmas season is almost here, and for some, that means picking out the perfect Christmas tree. While you could head to the store for a plastic one, or pick out a pre-cut one, you can find local, cut-your-own Christmas tree farms right near Clark and Garwood.

According to the New Jersey Christmas Tree Grower's Association website, there are multiple farms that offer cut-your-own, or fresh-cut trees sold by the farms themselves, near the Clark and Garwood area during the 2017 holiday season:

Somerset County:

Dower Farm, Peapack, (4 Todd Ave.). They have Canaan Fir and Norway Spruce between 5 and 10 ft. high.

Otterbein Nursery, Somerset (310 Skillmans Lane). They have White Pine, Blue Spruce, Norway Spruce, White Spruce, Douglas Fir, Concolor Fir, Fraser Fir and Balsam Fir. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Saturday and Sunday0), through Dec. 24. For more information call 732-821-1999.

Wolgast Tree Farm and Apiary, Somerset (176 Bennetts Lane). They have Blue Spruce, Norway Spruce, White Pine, Scotch Pine, Douglas Fir, Concolor Fir, Canaan Fir and Austrian Pine.
