Duck Donuts Announces New Targeted Opening Date In Clark

CLARK, NJ — Duck Donuts, the franchise homemade doughnut shop, announced a new targeted opening date — Aug. 1.

"Thank you for the outreach and continued interest in/anticipation about the opening!" Duck Donuts announced. "Plans have been submitted and the permitting process has begun!"

The shop had initially planned to open this spring in the Clark Circle Shopping Plaza at 77 Central Ave.

However, Duck Donuts spokeswoman Kristin Kellum previously told Patch, "timing for this store's opening has actually been pushed back to the summer."

This will mark the fifth location to open in New Jersey. There are locations in Middletown, Marlton, Avalon and a location opened in November 2016 in Green Brook.

Duck Donuts is a made-to-order shop that allows customers to customize the toppings and watch as their doughnuts are made fresh in front of them.
