Maloney and Bevan fell in love with Duck Donuts during a vacation to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Since then, the marketing and advertising locals decided to take the plunge and open their very own location in Clark.
"The experience is so unique," Maloney told Patch. "The donuts are made to order from a yellow cake case and then you can add toppings to create a million combinations."

"But it's really just an experience in addition to being delicious because you can see your donuts being made," Maloney added. "It's like coming into a happy oasis here."
The 2,100 square-foot retail store reflects the franchise’s newly redesigned iconic beach theme and family-friendly atmosphere with indoor and limited outdoor seating.
In addition to donuts, the Clark location also serves Duck Donuts’ signature coffee blends—Riptide Roast, Light House Blend, and Sunset Pier Decaf, tea, espresso, a unique OBX breakfast sandwich, donut sundaes, select retail items and more.
Donuts at this location will be made fresh to order seven days a week, Tuesday to Thursday 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday-Saturday 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday to Monday 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
