Duck Donuts Delays Clark Opening

The franchise homemade doughnut shop had initially planned to open this spring in the Clark Circle Shopping Plaza​ at 77 Central Ave.

CLARK, NJ — Sad news for Duck Donuts fans. The opening of the new Clark location is being pushed back until the summer.

The franchise homemade doughnut shop had initially planned to open this spring in the Clark Circle Shopping Plaza at 77 Central Ave.

However, Duck Donuts spokeswoman Kristin Kellum told Patch, "timing for this store’s opening has actually been pushed back to the summer."

This will mark the third location to open in New Jersey. There is a location in Middletown, and a location opened last November in Green Brook.

Duck Donuts is a made-to-order shop that allows customers to customize the toppings and watch as their doughnuts are made fresh in front of them.
