Education Foundation of Garwood (EFG) Annual Event May 19, 2021

EFG to Honor Mrs. Margaret "Peggy"Hak as Educator of the Year and Marano & Sons Auto Sales as Community Persons Making a Difference

The Education Foundation of Garwood (EFG) will be hosting its 16th Annual Appreciation Event honoring Mrs. Margaret “Peggy” Hak, Lincoln School’s Educator of the Year, and Marano and Sons, People Making a Difference in the Community. This signature party will be held on Wednesday, May 19th, 2021 at Ashbrook Golf Course, 1210 Raritan Road in Scotch Plains from 5:30-8:30 pm.

Tickets cost $45 in advance and at the door via cash or check made out to EFG. You can also pay by Venmo @Steve-Napolitano-2 and tickets will be given to you upon arrival. Be sure to include your name in the notes section. Tickets are available at the Garwood Public Library, 411 Third Ave.; the Lincoln School, 400 Second Ave.; or through the foundation president, Candace Kilmer (ckilmer728@gmail.com or 908-358-6963). A cash bar and light appetizers will be served. Masks are required and CDC social distancing guidelines will be followed.

The EFG is a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization. It was founded in 2004 to work with the Garwood School District “in pursuit of educational excellence.” You can follow the foundation on Facebook at the “Education Foundation of Garwood.”
