NJ Team Loses Little League World Series, But Inspires 'Shake'
VIDEO: The Elmora Troopers lost on Wednesday, but they did inspire a new dance called the "Jersey Shake" that MLB players are now imitating.

ELIZABETH, NJ — New Jersey doesn't have a professional baseball team but it's got a team that inspired everybody – including professional baseball players – as it went on a terrific run in the Little League World Series.
Even as the team lost 4-1 to Louisiana on Wednesday and was eliminated, they made an impact that even Toms River's Little League World Series hero, current New York Met Todd Frazier, has felt.
The team has also created its own dance called the "Jersey Shake" that Major League Baseball players are imitating. Watch Frazier strut his moves:

The team's fever was running high early Wednesday, inspiring others to jump on the bandwagon.
The Elmora Troopers, the Mid-Atlantic Region Champions, advanced to play Louisana following their 2-0 defeat of New England’s Barrington squad in the final inning Tuesday in the Little League Baseball World Series tournament.

It was a scoreless tie game up until the sixth inning when Sal Garcia, Jayden Capindica, and J.R. Rosado helped secure the winning runs for the Troopers.
They continued to inspire even after they lost.
As the Elmora Troopers broke down in tears over their loss on Wednesday, Coach Jairo Labrador shared some inspiring words.
"You get to say you guys played with best group of players on the planet," Labrador said as knelt down beside the team. "Elizabeth is so proud of you guys."
He reminded the kids that they fought hard and will be successful in everything they do in life.
"For the rest of my life I will be proud that you guys called me coach," Labrador said. "There is dad and then coach."
The troopers had plenty of support throughout their journey with the New Jersey State Police, Elizabeth Police Department and Assemblywoman Annette Quijano cheering them on.
