GARWOOD, NJ — Garwood candidates for council Heather Loffredo and Kim Salmon hosted Garwood Fest on Sunday to celebrate local businesses.

"It was amazing, kids had a great time! The Garwood Rest is the oldest business in Garwood and we were able to turn it into a full-filled day with face painting, crafts, free raffles, cotton candy and much, much more," said Salmon.

The family-friendly event was held at the Garwood Rest with the intention of giving borough businesses a boost following the pandemic closures.
