Garwood Moe’s Donates Burritos To Hospitals Amid Coronavirus

Garwood Moe's owner Benjamin Perez-Ringus' 11-year-old son also pens a thank you letter to the healthcare workers in each burrito bag.

GARWOOD, NJ — Moe's Southwest Grill in Garwood has been delivering burritos to healthcare workers who are fighting the new coronavirus.

So far, the Moe's at 315 North Ave. has delivered more than 200 burritos to JFK Medical Center in Edison and Beth Israel Medical Center.

"If there are more hospitals in need of a Moe's Homewrecker, Garwood will be there to serve them," says Garwood owner Benjamin Perez-Ringus.

A heartfelt thank you note written by Perez-Ringus's 11 year-old son Jacob is included in each burrito delivery bag.

Additionally the Garwood Moe's location is offering family meals with their new Moe’s Taco Kit which serves four to six people and includes 12 soft flour tortillas, choice of two proteins, lettuce, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, rice, beans, sour cream, and a bowl of Moe's famous queso.

Chips and salsa are included. The Taco Kit is available to order on the Moe's app, website and in-store for $34.99.
