Garwood QuickChek To Permanently Close On Friday

GARWOOD, NJ — The QuickChek store at 252 North Ave. in Garwood is permanently closing.

The location has an expiring lease and QuickChek will not be renewing it. The store will close on Friday, according to QuickChek Spokesman Russ Mensch.

QuickChek employees at the Garwood store will be transferred to or offered positions at nearby QuickChek store locations, Mensch said.

Although the Garwood store is closing, customers can visit the nearby QuickChek store located less than 2 miles away at 370 North Ave. East in Cranford.

The Cranford store opened Sept. 10, 2019 and is open 24 hours a day. Amenities include eight gas pumps and 16 fueling positions.
