Garwood's First-Ever Restaurant Week Kicks Off Sunday

GARWOOD, NJ — Garwood's first-ever Restaurant Week is kicking off on Sunday and will run through Saturday, March 27. Here is a list of what restaurants are participating:

The Borough's local eateries will offer discounted prix fixe menus and food and drink specials for new and old patrons alike.

"While Garwood is a small town, we have a big culinary scene with some of the best restaurants in the area and a great variety of cuisines, from New Orleans Style Cajun to traditional Italian to inspired BBQ," said Garwood Mayor Sara Todisco. "This event will hopefully help shine a spotlight on some of our favorite restaurants here in Garwood."

Locals can choose to visit their favorite restaurant for a meal inside or outside, take their meals home, or have their food delivered. These options are of particular importance as all restaurants will continue to follow COVID-19 safety protocols during the event, which include limitations on indoor dining capacity.

"Our local business owners are an important part of our Garwood community, and these restaurants and their staffs need our support more than ever," said Todisco. "I know many of our residents are eager to support our local businesses, so I hope they will join me in enjoying a few delicious meals from our local restaurants during Garwood Restaurant Week."

The Borough will also host a promotion on Facebook where residents are encouraged to share a picture of their Restaurant Week meals with the #GarwoodRestaurantWeek for a chance to win gift certificates from some of the participating restaurants.
