The Friends of the Scotch Plains Public Library will hold their annual giant book sale, beginning with a children's sale on Sat. March 8 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and Monday, March 10 from 1-5 p.m.Â
The giant book sale will then begin with a member's preview on Wed. March 12 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.Â
New members may join the Friends at the door to gain access to the special preview.
The sale continues on Thur., March 13 from 9 a.m.-8 p.m, a half-price day on Fri., March 14 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and then a $7 bag sale on Sat., March 15 from 9 a.m-3 p.m.Â
The Friends are a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization supporting the programming at SPPL, and this annual book sale is its largest fundraiser, raising more than $132,000 to date to support the library. Further questions regarding the upcoming book sale can be directed to spplfriends1@gmail.com.
