Osceola Presbyterian Church in Clark is sponsoring a holiday gift sale on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
CLARK, NJ: Osceola Presbyterian Church is sponsoring a holiday gift sale on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., supporting Ten Thousand Villages’ mission. Shoppers will be able to choose from a variety of handcrafted items – there will be Christmas decorations as well as household items and jewelry.
Ten Thousand Villages’ mission is to create opportunities for artisans in developing countries to earn income by bringing their products and stories to North American markets through long-term, fair trading relationships.

- Pay a mutually agreed upon price for artisan creations and deliver advance payment to nurture resilient enterprise that can grow and flourish
- Ensure a safe and health workplace. Child labor is prohibited to encourage kids to remain in school.
- Aim to keep the earth’s resources in balance, emphasizing use of recycled or renewable natural materials and applying sustainable environmental practices.
In addition, members of Osceola’s congregation are contributing items for a bake sale that will be held in conjunction with the holiday gift market.
