CLARK, NJ — Home burglary, criminal mischief, theft and shoplifting were among the incidents reported recently in Clark.
Clark Police blotter:
On June 7 at 10:38 p.m.: Police took a report of a theft of an item from a patron of L.A. Fitness at 1255 Raritan Road. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Tom Gucwa was the
investigating officer.

On June 8 at 2:07 p.m.: At headquarters, police arrested Stephanie Valz, 31, of Linden for shoplifting merchandise valued at $213.12 from the ShopRite Supermarket at 76 Central Ave. She was subsequently released pending a court date. Det. Bruce McDonald was the arresting officer.
On June 10 at 4:49 p.m.: Police took a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle that was parked at a residence on Lexington Boulevard. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer
Marzhar Elwardany was the investigating officer.

On June 10 at 5:05 p.m.: Police took a report of a burglary to a residence on Harvey Court. The
incident is under investigation. Police Officer Paul Sosnowski was the investigating
officer.
On June 11 at 8:30 a.m.: Police took a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle that was parked at a residence on Clauss Road. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Andrew Medeiros was the investigating officer.
On June 13 at 10:53 a.m.: Police took a report of a theft of a wallet from the purse of a patron of the Whole Foods Supermarket at 1255 Raritan Road. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Mazhar Elwardany was the investigating officer.
On June 16 at 4:17 p.m.: In the vicinity of Lexington Boulevard, police arrested Peter Dagata, 45, of Elizabeth, on outstanding warrants, totaling $550, from Elizabeth for contempt of court. He
was subsequently released pending a court date. Police Officer Michael Hernandez was the arresting officer.
