Iconic Union County Italian Restaurant Closes After 100 Years
After 100 years in business, the iconic Union County Italian eatery, Spirito's Restaurant and Tavern, is closing.

ELIZABETH, NJ — After 100 years in business, the iconic Union County Italian eatery, Spirito's Restaurant and Tavern, is closing and the property is up for sale.
The sale was listed for sale on movoto.com on Friday for $760,000 and includes the sale of the building, land, and liquor license.
The building features a first floor retail space and the second and third floors each have a one-bedroom apartment with full bath, kitchen, living area, and separate bedroom. Included in the sale is the Class C Plenary liquor license, the restaurant equipment, and furniture included.

A call to Spirito's by Patch on Monday was unanswered.
