Lidl To Open New Store In Garwood By End Of 2021

GARWOOD, NJ — A new grocery store is coming to town as Lidl announced plans to open a store in Garwood by the end of 2021.

Lidl is planning to open the new location at 10 South Ave. in Garwood where the former Pathmark Supermarket used to be. The grand opening date will be announced over the coming months.

The Garwood store is among Lidl's $500 million new store expansion plan to open 10 new stores in New Jersey by the end of 2021.

The new stores were revealed as part of Lidl's $500 million new store expansion plan, which included opening 50 new stores along the East Coast and 10 in New Jersey by the end of next year.

About 400 new jobs will be created through the opening of Lidl's New Jersey stores.

• Brick - Hooper Ave
• Egg Harbor Township - Fire Road
• Garwood - South Ave
• Glassboro - Delsea Drive
• Gloucester Township - Blackwood
• Lawrenceville - S Black Horse Pike
• Park Ridge - Kinderkamack Rd
• Weehawken - Park Ave
• Woodbridge - St. Georges Ave
