Lucky's Serves Up Handcrafted Burgers, Hot Dogs, Shakes In Clark

CLARK, NJ — A new eatery has opened in town and is serving up handcrafted burgers, all-beef hot dogs, hand-cut fries, homemade toppings and unique milkshakes. Lucky’s opened recently on Raritan Road in Clark.

The unique shakes are a big hit at Lucky's including "The Unicorn" made of strawberry ice cream with homemade unicorn bark, cotton candy, rock candy and sprinkles. And "The Salted Pretzel Nutella Fudge Shake" made with chocolate shake with a Nutella-frosted, salted-pretzel rim, topped with whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles, giant toasted marshmallow and homemade Nutella fudge with sea salt.

"It’s so great to see faces light up when we slide a fanciful shake in front of someone. Almost as much fun as thinking them up! We’ve got some customer contests planned, root beer floats have launched and we’ve got limited-edition shakes coming, too. In fact, I’ve got four words for you: Candied Maple-Bacon Waffle," said co-owner Natalie Deo.

Lucky's is also known for its burgers and hot dogs.

An all-beef Brunch Burger is topped with cheddar, a fried egg and Taylor ham or bacon, and the Hawaiian Dog’s hand-wrapped in bacon, deep-fried and topped with homemade pineapple salsa and honey mustard.

There is also a Southern Dog with bacon, homemade coleslaw and baked-bean toppings.

Other unique dishes include the PBJ chicken wings with homemade peach jalapeno sauce, fried pickles with spices, and mini all-beef corn dogs lightly coated in homemade batter.

The fries are also hand-cut each morning and available naked or tossed in toppings.

Daily specials will also be featured including the Italian - a sausage patty with provolone, sautéed peppers and onions, and homemade marinara. And the homemade turkey meatloaf that’s topped with cheddar, barbecue sauce and homemade onion straws. Both are served on a lightly butter-toasted bun.

Lucky's is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and is located at 1473 Raritan Road in Clark.
