NFL Player Dion Dawkins To Deliver Meals In Rahway Saturday
NFL offensive tackle for the Buffalo Bills and Rahway native Dion Dawkins will be distributing food to families in need at Rahway HS.

RAHWAY, NJ — NFL offensive tackle for the Buffalo Bills and Rahway native Dion Dawkins will be at Rahway High School to hand out fresh produce and other essentials on Saturday.
With the help of Plainfield Fruit and Produce and more than 60 volunteers, Dion and his foundation will be distributing food to families in need from the city of Rahway and the surrounding area.
Families are being asked to stay in their cars to pick up their food boxes, however, there will be a walk-up station for those without transportation. This event will be open to the public.

Social distancing and masks will be required on-site.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rahway High School, 1012 Madison Ave. in Rahway.

Dawkins is entering his fifth season in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills. He was born and raised in Rahway and later played at Temple University.
Dawkins declared for the 2017 NFL Draft and was selected in the 2nd Round with the 63rd overall pick by the Buffalo Bills. Dawkins' tremendous work ethic and leadership on and off the field led him to be named as one of the Bills’ captains for the 2019 and 2020 seasons.
