Motorcyclist ID'd In Fatal Hit And Run Crash On Rt. 440
An Old Bridge man who was driving a motorcycle was hit and killed by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene on Thursday morning.

PERTH AMBOY, NJ — A motorcyclist from Old Bridge has been identified as the person killed in a fatal hit and run crash on Highway 440 in Perth Amboy on Thursday morning, state police report.
Rafal Nowak, 41, of Old Bridge was driving a Harley Davidson on the exit ramp of Route 440 at the State Street ramp when it overturned around 6:19 a.m., Lt. Theodore Schafer said.
An unknown vehicle then struck Nowak causing fatal injuries and fled the scene, Schafer said.

The ramp had been closed for a period of time during the police investigation.
