'Personally Yours' Gift Basket Shop Opens on Westfield Avenue

The new shop and rehabbed building also earned a beautification award from the mayor.

Next time you need a gift, look no farther than the latest business to open on Westfield Avenue – Personally Yours.

The gift shop and gift basket business moved to Clark after 25 years in Cranford, when owner Dean Russo purchased the building at 23 Westfield Avenue. The storefront space was formerly the Miracle Store. Russo has since earned a beautification award from Mayor Sal Bonaccorso for his work on the business and building.

Russo's shop is packed to the gills with all sorts of specialty foods and treats, including a front counter full of chocolate covered pretzels, cherries, Oreos and more. It's the pretzels they were especially known for in Cranford, he says.

At Personally Yours, customers can pick a basket or other vessel (ice buckets, serving bowls and more) to hold the gifts and treats and then staff will carefully arrange and wrap the whole package. They also can then deliver the baskets – they ship worldwide or will hand-deliver locally.

"We find most of our products at trade shows and seek things you can't find in the supermarket," he says.

Prices vary, but a regular-size basket costs around $25. Personally Yours also does a lot of their sales online, says Russo, especially for business-to-business gifts. You can shop online on their website, here.

"Come on down and check us out," says Russo. "Whether you simply want a pretzel or a whole gift basket. The baskets are a great alternative to flowers, too."
