Rainy Weekend On Tap For Union County

UNION COUNTY, NJ — It's a wet one out there and forecasters predict the wet, soggy weather will continue all weekend.

Today: A chance of rain or drizzle before 1 p.m., then a slight chance of drizzle after 1 p.m. Patchy fog before 1 p.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 50. Northeast wind 6 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Tonight: Rain, mainly after midnight. Low around 38. Northeast wind 10 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Sunday: Rain. High near 40. Wind chill values between 30 and 35. Northeast wind 9 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Sunday Night: Rain likely, possibly mixed with sleet, mainly before 9 p.m. Cloudy, with a low around 35. North wind 6 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 44. West wind 5 to 11 mph.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 28.
