Elizabeth Man ID'd As Motorcyclist In Linden Crash
E. St. Georges Avenue has reopened following a crash that left an Elizabeth man in serious condition Thursday.

LINDEN, NJ — A motorcycle driver is hospitalized following a serious crash that shut down E. St. Georges Avenue in both directions in Linden Thursday morning, police report.
At around 6:20 a.m., a 2013 Dodge Charger, driven by a 26-year-old man from Elizabeth, drove north on N. Park Ave and was making a left turn to go west on E. St. George Avenue when it collided with a 2013 Triumph motorcycle that was traveling south on N. Park Ave across E. St. George Ave., Linden Police report.
The driver of the motorcycle, identified as a 58-year-old man also from Elizabeth, was transported to Newark University Hospital with serious injuries. The other driver was not injured, olice report.

E. St. Georges Avenue was closed from Elmora Avenue to Adams Street for more than three hours.
The accident remains under investigation by the Linden Police Department Traffic Bureau, and anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact Inv. Peter Kozak at 908-474-8505.
