Services Set For Beloved Clark Firefighter John DeAngelo
Beloved Clark firefighter John DeAngelo, 64, died at his home surrounded by his family on New Year's Eve.

CLARK, NJ — Funeral arrangements have been set for beloved Clark firefighter John DeAngelo, 64, who died at his home surrounded by his family on Dec. 31, 2020.
"The Clark Fire Department has suffered an unimaginable loss... Our sympathy and condolences go out to his family and to our Fire Department members. May he rest in peace and we will never forget you Pops! Love you and already miss you, we will take it from here, rest well 171," said Clark Fire Chief Frank Cerasa.
DeAngelo of Clark joined the Clark Volunteer Fire Department in September 1997 and was current Vice President and past President of its CFD association.

DeAngelo was born in Brooklyn, New York on Dec. 25, 1956, lived in Linden and moved to Clark in 1991. He was the owner of DeAngelo Metal Products in Linden since 1975.
Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Maria (Larrosa) DeAngelo, his children Victor DeAngelo and his wife Deborah, John R. DeAngelo, Paul V. DeAngelo and Michael J. DeAngelo, sister Rosemary Scamardella and her husband Tony and Pauline Gajek, grandchildren Kaitlin, Damian and Mila, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at The Lehrer-Gibilisco Funeral Home, 275 West Milton Ave., in Rahway on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. The Funeral Service on Saturday morning will be private at the family's request.
In lieu of flowers: Donations to Clark Fire Department can be made, 250 Broadway Clark, NJ 07066 in his memory would be appreciated.
The DeAngelo family will have a memorial gathering at a future date.
