“Our commitment to our community and safety is forefront in all decisions. Research shows that the social isolation endured this past year will have lasting effects on our community, and we are dedicated to doing everything we can to ensure that we are here for all,” stated Krystal R. Canady, CEO, The Gateway Family YMCA. “We are proud of our ability to serve our community through housing and social services and Y member wellness services 24-hours a day through our expansive staff and program opportunities offered in-person and virtually. The world is very different than it was a year ago, and so is our Y.”

The Gateway Family YMCA’s Spring program opportunities include a mix of In-Person Indoor, Outdoor and Virtual Programs such as Yoga, Cycling, Group Exercise, Swimming Lessons, Swim Team Stroke Clinic, Youth Programs, Virtual WISE Services and family experiences including Basketball and Family Swimming. Traditional YMCA wellness services, fitness centers, free weights and nutrition programs remain available to Y members with no reservations required following local safety guidelines. In addition, The Gateway Family YMCA continues to offer virtual chronic disease management programs to the community (no membership required), including Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring and Diabetes Empowerment Education programs.
