CLARK, NJ — Congrats Carl H. Kumpf Middle School Class of 2021! The commencement exercise was held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Arthur L. Johnson High School.
"The way you successfully adapted to this past year only adds to your strong preparedness," said Superintendent Ed Grande.
The commencement was originally scheduled for Wednesday but was pushed to Thursday due to rain.

"These past three years have certainly been eventful for all of us. Our time together at Kumpf had its ups and downs... but we always found a way to persevere and make it through," said Salutatorian Emily Pittari.
Carl H. Kumpf Middle School Principal Rick Delmonaco and Valedictorian Ivy Liu were also among those who also spoke during the ceremony.
