"Here are a few pictures of our rescue dog, Blue," Michelle C. Gonzalez wrote. "Several months ago, I lost my beautiful dog, Zone, to cancer. It was unexpected and I was inconsolable to say the least. One day, I decided to visit the AWA in Voorhees. What I didn't know was that I was about to fall in love with the most challenging dog I had ever met. Blue comes from a shelter in Mississippi and he struggles with fear and anxiety. He has been my greatest challenge, but the unconditional love we share for each other is undeniable. While I continue to help him learn to trust and feel safe, he helps me to move on. I know it sounds cliche, but I thought I could help save another dog's life; what I didn't expect was for him to save mine. I smile again, I laugh again, and I love again; all thanks to my baby boy, Blue."
