Collingswood 4th Of July Fireworks, Parades And More: 2018 Guide
To the Max will help Collingswood celebrate America's Independence on July 4.

COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — To the Max will help Collingswood celebrate America’s Independence on Wednesday, July 4, at Collingswood High School.
The eight-piece band, one of the liveliest in the Philadelphia region, will entertain the crowd with popular music and play patriotic tunes during the fireworks. Admission is free.
The show begins at 8 p.m. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Fireworks follow at about 9:15 p.m. at the high school’s stadium.

Stadium seating will not be available so bring a blanket. In the event of rain, fireworks are postponed to July 5. A decision regarding postponement, if necessary, will be made the morning of July 4 and posted on Collingswood.com as well as Collingswood's Facebook page here. Fireworks are sponsored by Parke Bank and the law offices of Brown & Connery, LLC.
Before the band and fireworks show comes the parade. Collingswood’s Fourth of July Bike Parade is set for Wednesday, July 4, 10 a.m. Kids, families and cyclists are encouraged to decorate their bikes, wagons, strollers and scooters patriotically.

The ride starts at Haddon and Zane avenues, goes down Zane, Park and Browning and ends at Browning and Magill, where participants will enter the park. Once inside the park, the ride continues to the ice cream truck.
Tatem Shields American Legion Post 17 will be distributing free ice cream and popsicles for the children, as well as flags, in Knight Park starting at 10 a.m. near the house inside the park. Any parents who have children with specific dietary needs can contact Kim Brooks at kimznpta@gmail.com.
Summer days like the Fourth of July can be hot, so Collingswood’s Roberts Pool welcomes kids to take a dip, but with a twist and a turn. Starting at 2 p.m., events for kids such as water games, raft races, coin toss, watermelon games and a host of other activities will keep everyone cool and prizes are offered for participants. Pool membership or day pass are required for admission.
Now is the time to register for the Collingswood House Decorating Contest for a chance to win Collingswood Cash. Register in advance at July4@ProudNeighborsofCollingswood.org. Judges will only visit homes that provide address, name, phone and email in advance.
Collingswood homes, businesses and town blocks will be judged on creativity, originality, appropriateness to architecture, the best historic homes and overall best look. Show off your banners, flags, stars or stripes to paint the town red, blue and white! The official judging will take place on the morning of 4th of July and the winner will be announced in style at the Collingswood fireworks display that evening. For questions, contact 856-466-8725.
