Collingswood High School Softball Team Makes State Tournament
The Panthers are the No. 16 seed in South Jersey Group 2.

Collingswood, NJ -- The Collingswood High School softball team takes on the best team in the field to kick off its run for a South Jersey title.
The 16th-seeded Panthers visit top-seeded West Deptford in the first round of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 playoffs, according to the bracket posted on nj.com on Tuesday. That game takes place on Monday, May 23.
The winner faces the winner of the game between No. 8 Cedar Creek and No. 9 Middle Township in the quarterfinals on May 25.

The semifinals are scheduled for May 31, with the finals at Kean University on June 3.
West Deptford (14-1) owns a pair of shutout wins over Collingswood (2-13), by scores of 20-0 and 16-0, this season. The only blemish on the Eagles’ record is a 6-3 loss to Rancocas Valley.
