Days will count toward the 180-day requirement for schools in New Jersey, and no decision had been made about spring break as of Saturday night. Monday’s lesson plan for all students is as follows:

Students in grades 2-12 should ensure that they have everything they need to participate in online remote learning experiences. This includes a Chromebook, a charger, and internet access.
If you need assistance with any of these items, please call your school at the numbers from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday. Your information and concern will be recorded and directed to the appropriate staff member who will get back to you.

Students and families in grades 2-12 may report to their schools on Monday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. to pick up belongings from classrooms or lockers. Please enter through the front/main office doors. All other doors will be locked.

Families of students in preschool, kindergarten, and grade 1 will need to pick up hard copy/paper-and-pencil remote learning materials from your school. Classroom teachers will be available between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. to distribute these materials. In an effort to promote “social distancing,” please spread out your arrival at school as best you can within these
suggested timeframes:
o If your last name begins with the letters A-G, report between 9am-10am
o If your last name begins with the letters H-M, report between 10am-11am
o If your last name begins with the letters N-S, report between 11am-12pm
o If your last name begins with the letters T-Z, report between 12pm-1pm

The suggested hours above are guidelines only. What is most important is that you pick up your learning materials. If you are unable to report to school between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., please call your
school during those hours, and they will make arrangements to get the materials to you.
