COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Collingswood so you can start planning now.

What: Fireworks, festivities and TO THE MAX: TO THE MAX will take the stage as the Borough celebrates America's independence. The eight-piece band, one of the liveliest in the Philadelphia region, will entertain the crowd with popular music and play patriotic tunes during the fireworks. Admission is free.
Where: Collingswood High School Stadium, 424 Collings Avenue. No seating in the stadium, so bring a blanket.

When: Thursday, July 4, 2019. Gates open at 6:30 p.m., concert starts at 8 p.m. Fireworks go off at 9:15 p.m. Rain date is July 5.
What: Bike Parade. Kids, families and cyclists are encouraged to decorate their bikes, wagons, strollers and scooters patriotically.
Where: The short ride starts at Haddon and Zane avenues, going down Zane, Park and Browning and ending at Browning & Magill where you will enter the park. Once inside the park continue your ride towards the ice cream truck. Tatem Shields American Legion Post 17 will be distributing free ice cream and popsicles for the children & flags in Knight Park starting at 10am near the house inside Knight Park. What: Fun at Roberts Pool: Summer days like the Fourth of July can be hot, so Collingswood’s Roberts Pool welcomes kids to take a dip — but with a twist and a turn! Events for kids such as water games, raft races, coin toss and a host of other activities will keep everyone cool and prizes are offered for participants. NOTE: Pool membership or day pass required for admission.
Where: Roberts Pool, 215 Hillcrest Avenue, Collingswood
When: Thursday, July 4, 2 p.m.
Additionally, Collingswood holds a house decorating contest. Collingswood homes, businesses and town blocks will be judged on creativity, originality, appropriateness to architecture, best historic homes and overall best look. Show off your banners, flags, stars or stripes to paint the town red, blue and white! The official judging will take place on the morning of 4th of July and the winner will be announced in style at the Collingswood fireworks display that evening. Winners will be awarded Collingswood Cash and prizes are delivered to property owners one week following contest. There has been a festive display of patriotic colors over the years and we expect the same enthusiasm from participants this year too. This event requires advance registration - email July4@ProudNeighborsOfCollingswood.org with your name, address, phone and e-mail address to participate. For questions, contact 856-466-8725. Judges will only visit homes that provide address, name, phone and email in advance.
What: Haddonfield 4th of July Celebration. There are fireworks on July 3. There will be food trucks and entertainment on Kings Highway beginning at 6 p.m. The fireworks will go off around
9 p.m. at the Central Middle School. On July 4, there will be a parade that kicks off at 10 a.m. at the corner of Chestnut Street and Kings Highway. The parade ends at the Haddonfield Memorial High School, where the announcements of the winning groups and floats will be made around 11:30am.

When: Fireworks are Wednesday, July 3, with entertainment beginning at 6 p.m. The parade is Thursday, July 4, 2019, 10 a.m.
What: Happy Birthday America Celebration. Love Alive will play rock and roll classics from the 1960s to today. This will be followed by a dramatic fireworks display sponsored by First Colonial Community Bank. Admission is free and refreshments will be sold.
Where: Haddon Township High School Football Stadium.
When: Wednesday, July 3, 7 p.m. Rain date for the fireworks is July 5.
What: Camden County Freedom Festival features the UCC Royal Brass Band, Burton Cummings and a fireworks display over the Delaware River at 9:30 p.m. This year, Freedom Festival will also have an exclusive beer garden featuring Tonewood Brewing.
Where: Wiggins Park, 2 Riverside Drive in Camden
When: Thursday, July 4, 2019, 5 p.m.
