Collingswood's 4th Of July Fireworks 2020 Canceled
Collingswood's traditional Fourth of July events may be canceled, but there are several other ways you can celebrate the holiday safely.
COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — July 4 events across the country will not look the same this year thanks to the coronavirus. Many cities and towns have been forced to cancel the annual Fourth of July events, including Collingswood.
Collingswood will not host their annual fireworks display and Independence Day events on July 4 due to capacity limitations and safety issues during the pandemic, officials announced.
“It would be very difficult to accommodate crowds at the high school safely and with virtually all other displays in the region canceled we expect we will see even larger crowds than normal if we proceed," officials said. "For safety reasons, it’s better to pause our 2020 celebration.”
