Collingswood's Ana Sourcing Benefits From CARES Act Funding

Under the CARES Act, the federal government has awarded more than $2.4 billion to New Jersey companies.

COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — The federal government has sent more than $2.4 billion to companies in New Jersey for coronavirus relief efforts since Congress passed the CARES Act in March.

More than $2 million of that federal money went to Collingswood-based Ana Sourcing, according to the Federal Procurement Data System. Ana Sourcing received 14 payments, as follows:

  • $12,079 from the U.S. Forest Service;
  • $45,136.70 from the U.S. Forest Service;
  • $70,000 from the U.S. Forest Service;
  • $181,876 from the U.S. Forest Service;
  • $26,820 from Agricultural Marketing Service;
  • $26,220 from the Smithsonian Institution;
  • $20,795.10 from Agricultural Marketing Service;
  • $10,200 from the U.S. Mint;
  • $4,867,080.01 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA);
  • $14,961,41 from the U.S. Forest Service;
  • $2,023,600 from the U.S. Forest Service; and
  • $5,000 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Congress passed the $2 trillion Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act on March 27. In addition to direct aid to people who lost their jobs and the Paycheck Protection Program to help small businesses avoid laying off workers, the act included direct government spending for fighting the coronavirus.
