Elevator Coming to Collingswood PATCO Station

More than half of PATCO's stations aren't handicapped accessible now.

Collingswood’s PATCO station is due to get an elevator to make the station handicapped accessible (and possibly help out when there’s a lengthy escalator problem.)

PATCO is building elevators in the seven stations that don’t have them now, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. The stations will have elevators by 2017, according to the newspaper.

Collingswood’s PATCO station, just like the nearby Westmont and Haddonfield stations, isn’t handicapped accessible now, with only an up escalator in addition to stairs.
