Thursday, Nov. 15, 7 p.m.—Collingswood Middle School
This weekend, Collingswood Middle School presents the zany 1920’s musical Thoroughly Modern Millie, Jr.
"It’s a New York full of intrigue and jazz—a time when women were entering the workforce and the rules of love and social behavior were changing forever," reads the announcement.
Thursday night is opening night for the production, which runs Nov. 15-17 at 7 p.m. with a matinee on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 1 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and students.
4. Collingswood (Bonus) Cash Sale
Saturday, Nov. 17, 9 to 10 a.m.—various locations
Head on out to Collingswood Borough Hall, 1st Colonial National Bank, or Sun National Bank, Saturday morning to get your bonus Collingswood Cash. 5. Beef, Beer, Bikes and Bowie
Saturday, Nov. 17, 8 to 11 p.m.—Perkins Center for the Arts
Hey man! It's a total bam-bam down at Perkins Center for the Arts this Saturday with the Beef, Beer, Bikes and Bowie benefit to support the Collingswood Bike Share. Just $25 gets you in the door for an evening of local color. Your talented friends and neighbors will be performing the greatest glam-rock hits of the era, including the entirety of The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars
