Haddon Avenue To Close For Repaving Friday

Haddon Avenue will be closed for repaving by PSE&G on Friday.

COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — PSE&G will repave a portion of Haddon Avenue on Friday, Camden County officials announced on Thursday. Haddon Avenue will be completely closed during work.

“This is a heavily traveled stretch of roadway, and this project has the potential to impact traffic in the surrounding area especially during peak hours,” Freeholder Barbara Holcomb, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, said. “With any road closure, it is important to plan ahead and understand how your route may be affected. When driving through or around crews and vehicles, always be especially mindful of sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, and any crews or debris that may end up around in the roadway.”

Haddon Avenue will be closed to all traffic between Washington Avenue and Frazer Avenue beginning at 9 a.m. Friday. Haddon Avenue will also be closed to thru traffic between Lees Avenue and Collings Avenue. Detours will be in place.
