La Diva Tenors Bring the Opera to Collingswood's Knight Park July 16

Collingswood Mayor James Malley calls the "popera" a little "black tie t-shirt" affair.

The opera is coming to Knight Park.

La Diva Tenors, will stage a “popera” featuring arias from several operas, Neapolitan music and Broadway and pop crossover selections from modern performers like Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli.

“We’re bringing a little black tie t-shirt to Collingswood,” Collingswood Mayor James Maley said. “Between our family movie nights in the summer, we’ll have an evening of couples and music lovers sprawled out on the grass, enjoying a little Carmen for a change.”
