Local, Wenonah Artist Lands First Solo Show at RCGC
"My goal is to be able to make a career out of passion and add to the ongoing conversation that is art." Mario Dante Napole

For the last two years, Rowan College at Gloucester County (RCGC) student-artist Mario Dante Napole of Wenonah has been displaying his photographs and other pieces of artwork within the Gloucester County area. This January, his first solo art exhibit can be viewed at the College’s Workforce & Professional Development Institute located on Tanyard Road in Sewell. Dean of Continuing Education Brigette Satchell (left) appreciates the talent of RCGC’s student-artists and readily displays and promotes their artwork to residents and members of the business community.
“My goal is to be able to make a career out of passion and add to the ongoing conversation that is art,” said Napole. “Photography to me is a way to show others how I see the world around us, displaying emotions and creating a different point of view from the norm. Everyone has something to say and this is my way of saying it.”
The exhibit is open to the public through the end of January. Examples of Napole’s work can also be seen at Mariodante.squarespace.com.
