A Love Letter To Lance Gonzalez

To celebrate Valentine's Day, we asked Patch readers to write a love letter to that special someone and let us deliver it. This is Michelle Gonzalez's love letter to her husband, Lance:

Lance,

February 13, 2019 will mark 10 years since you and I met. During our first date two weeks later, I have to admit, I could not remember what you looked like. But, as you walked through the doors of the theater that night, I remember thinking to myself, "please be him!" Dressed in your long black winter coat, you simply took my breath away.

Fast-forward a decade later, we’re a little older and a little wiser, yet one thing remains the same: You simply take my breath away.

Thank you for being the positive, caring, humorous man every girl dreams of marrying.

As the years continue to pass, know that I would choose you over and over again. You are the smile that is permanently on my face.
