Love Letter To Mom: Happy Mother's Day, Martha Boardley

COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — She's the one that loved you first, but mom is much more than that. She’s a friend, a teacher, a counselor, a shoulder to cry on — and maybe one of the toughest women you’ve ever met.

We asked Patch readers in more than 1,000 communities to tell us what their moms mean to them. Nearly 200 people responded, paying tribute not just to moms but sometimes to grandmas, sisters and daughters who deserve recognition for Mother’s Day 2021.

Dear Mommy thank you for showing me what motherhood is all about....you raised us to be strong independent women.... You always reminded us to keep are head up and to strife for excellence... When you were in you weakest moments you got up out of bed are demostracted the best most amazing strength....you were in your last days and you got up and walked....yiu when to the kitchen and sat at the table and ate the meals we prepared for you....Glory Be To God.... you received your wings on 8-30-20....this will be our first mother's day without you....I often look at the beautiful pictures we have of you with that awesome smile...thank you thank you for always being our super woman....we all love you and miss you dearly!!!! Happy Motgers Day to one of the best mothers ever!!!!
