Road Work To Disrupt Traffic On Haddon Avenue In Collingswood
Public Service Gas and Electric Company crews will perform a paving restoration project on four locations on Haddon Avenue next week.
COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — Public Service Gas and Electric Company (PSE&G) crews will perform a paving restoration project on four locations on Haddon Avenue in Collingswood beginning Monday, Camden County officials said on Friday.
“Please be apprised of this schedule and how this project will affect traffic next week along Haddon Avenue,” Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, said. “If your commute includes this area, prepare for delays and changing traffic patterns while crews are active. Any time you’re traveling near a construction project, stay especially alert for sudden stops, additional traffic, and crews or vehicles that may end up in the roadway.”
The schedule is as follows:

- Monday: Haddon Avenue will be closed to northbound traffic between Route 130 and Belleview Terrace.
- Tuesday: A lane shift will be in place on Haddon Avenue between East Wayne Terrace and West Franklin Avenue.
- Wednesday: A lane shift will be in place on Haddon Avenue between Browning Road and East Coulter Avenue and between East Coulter Avenue and East Palmer Avenue.
- Thursday: There will be alternating traffic on Haddon Avenue between Frazer Avenue and Fern Avenue.
A posted detour route will guide drivers around the impacted area. Scheduling and project timing are dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
