Samaritan Raises More Than $173,000 at Annual Golf Tournament
Funds raised at 30th annual "Drive FORE! A Good Cause" support not-for-profit's family of services and community assistance
On October 5, Samaritan held their 30th annual golf tournament, “Drive FORE! A Good Cause.” More than 175 golfers participated in this year’s event, held at Little Mill Country Club, which raised funds and awareness for Samaritan’s not-for-profit services and 40+ years of service to the community.
The tournament, presented by The Richardson Family Dealerships, raised more than $173,000 to help Samaritan provide care for community members coping with aging, serious illness, or grief, and to assist patients and their families live each day to the fullest with dignity, comfort, and support.
“Without the generosity of our donors, Samaritan would not be where we are today – a regional leader for hospice, palliative, at-home and advance illness care,” says Mary Ann Boccolini, president/CEO of Samaritan. “Our annual golf tournament ensures that we can continue to expand our family of services, giving our organization the opportunity to assist patients and impact even more communities throughout southern new Jersey.”
