TD in West Deptford Robbed; Total Tops 2 Dozen in Last 2 Months

It's one of the latest in a rash of bank robberies since the end of October.

A TD Bank robbery in West Deptford brings the total to more than two dozen in Camden, Burlington and Gloucester Counties in the last two months, and West Deptford police are asking for the public's help in identifying the man they say struck there.

Police described the alleged robber as being anywhere from 5 feet, 8 inches tall to 6 feet tall, with a slender build. He was wearing a red Phillies baseball cap with flat brim and the stickers still on, a dark jacket, dark pants, dark sneakers, dark gloves and a gray hooded sweatshirt.

He walked into the bank around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, passed a note demanding cash and took off running west from the bank after getting an unspecified amount of cash, according to police.
