Cranford Educators Donate $2500 to Cranford Project Graduation

Rich Hurley, President of the CEA, presents Luann Markase and Marda Herz with a check for $2500 for Project Graduation.

Rich Hurley, President of the Cranford Education Association, presents Luann Markase and Marda Herz, Head of Cranford High School Project Graduation, with a donation of $2500. This is the 5th time in as many years that the Association, representing Cranford teachers and support staff, has made a contribution to Project Graduation.

Project Graduation, the drug and alcohol-free party for seniors on the night of graduation, provides Cranford graduates with a safe and controlled environment in which to celebrate. The Cranford Education Association has provided pens and pads to parents at elementary school back-to-school nights, re-useable shopping bags to elementary schools for their Holiday Boutiques, given away mini-lights at Relay for Life, as well as school magnets at Cranford High School back-to-school-night. The Association hopes to expand their generosity in the upcoming school years.
