Cranford, Hillsborough Athletes Take First Place At International Gymnastics Invitational

CRANFORD, NJ — Cranford's Samantha Davis, Hillsborough's Rachael Lukacs and the USA Gymnastics Region 7 All-Star team took 1st place at the Turnkunst International Gymnastics Invitational in Hamburg, Germany.

Davis, a junior at Cranford High School, and teammate Lukacs, were selected to be part of the eight-person US All Star team based on their performance at the Junior Olympic Regional and National Championships held earlier this year.

The US girls dominated the 16 country high level gymnastics competition in both the qualification and championship rounds by over 2 points.
