CRANFORD, NJ — The annual Cranford tree lighting will be held this Friday, with several related events, but it will look a little different this year.

"To keep safety as our top priority for the community," announced the Chamber of Commerce, "there will be no public access to this year’s tree lighting ceremony. However, we encourage everyone to view the live broadcast on TV35 beginning at 5 p.m. This digital show will fill you with holiday delight."

The Girl Scouts will decorate that day. There will be caroling from 5 to 6 p.m. Santa arrives at 6 just in time for the tree lighting.
