More Than 350 Baskets With Prizes Offered In Cranford Tricky Tray
The Hillside Avenue School PTA is offering their annual fundraiser on Saturday. After dropping off a ticket, you can watch virtually.

CRANFORD, NJ — Hillside Avenue School PTA invites you to their largest fundraiser of the year—the Tricky Tray Extravaganza. Each year, countless hours go into assembling more than 350 individual baskets and prizes available to win.
There is something for everyone including gift cards to local establishments donated by local businesses. There will also be a 50/50 drawing and other prizes.
The Tricky Tray will be held this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Cranford United Methodist Church on the corner of Walnut and Lincoln Avenues. The event will be partly virtual. Attendees will visit the church between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to drop tickets for the prizes they hope to win. After depositing tickets, you can return home and later in the day, log-on to watch the live broadcast of the drawings beginning at 4:15.

Full instructions for viewing the live drawings will be provided to each attendee. Winners can return to the church after the last winner is announced, up to 9 p.m., to pick up prizes. If you are unable to pick up your prizes on Saturday evening, winners can also pick up prizes on Sunday morning at Hillside Avenue school.
Masks are required at all times and organizers will follow all recommended CDC guidelines for the event including limiting the number of people in the building at one time.

All proceeds raised from the event directly benefit the children of Hillside Avenue School.
Because the PTA does not receive any funding from the state, proceeds from this event are used to bring programs and experiences to the school to enhance the student’s education. They also fund grants to the teachers used to make the classroom experience dynamic and engaging.
"The 2020/2021 school year has been extra challenging because of COVID-19 and the need for virtual learning," the PTA said, "and we are hoping to offer additional, innovative programs to keep the children engaged."
Discounts are available for advanced ticket purchases but tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets can be purchased using the below link:
