Cranford Resident Gabe Bailer Joins DMR Architects

Bailer is a licensed professional planner and earned certification with the American Institute of Certified Planners.

Ramon M. Hache, Sr., current Bergen County Board of Commissioners Member and former Mayor of Ridgewood has joined DMR Architects’ growing business development practice area. Gabe Bailer, PP, AICP joined DMR’s planning department and Joelle Nasr joined its interior design team.

Ramon Hache was sworn in to his first term as a commissioner in January 2021 and is serving as chair of the Community Development and Information Technology committees and as a member of the Bergen County Parks, Public Works and Planning & Engineering committees.

As Ridgewood Village Council Member from 2016-2018 and then Mayor from 2018-2020, Mr. Hache advanced economic development, job growth and attracted new retail to Ridgewood’s downtown by spearheading projects including the construction of the Hudson Street Parking Garage, significant capital projects for Ridgewood Water, and updating permitted uses in the central business district to improve commercial tenant mix. He also led the development and implementation of the weekend outdoor mall concept in response to COVID-19 dining closures.

Additionally, Mr. Hache brings more than 20 years of experience working at leading global private wealth and asset management companies JPMorgan, Deutsche Bank and HSBC in the roles of Chief Operating Officer and Head of Sales.

Mr. Hache holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Marist College.

Gabe Bailer, PP, AICP has been a professional planner for more than 20 years working with municipalities and private developers, focusing on mixed use and downtown development, historic preservation and revitalization, representing planning and zoning boards, and providing professional planning testimony. He previously worked in economic development for the Township of Cranford, which was previously recognized as a 2018 Great Place by the New Jersey chapter of the American Planning Association and as the number one downtown in NJ in 2018 and 2019 by NJ.com.

He is a NJ licensed professional planner (PP) and earned certification with the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP). He is a board member of Downtown NJ, an organization focusing on the vitality of downtowns.

He received his Master of Urban Planning from Hunter College and Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University at Buffalo.

Joelle Nasr joins DMR’s growing interior design department, bringing with her six years of experience in educational, municipal and residential projects.

Joelle spent the first four years of her career working in interior design in Beirut, Lebanon, focusing on residential projects. Since moving to the United States she has designed spaces in educational and municipal facilities, focusing on coordinating with suppliers, selecting finishes, and creating mood and finish boards.

She has a Master’s degree in Interior Architecture and Design and Bachelor’s degree in Design and Applied Arts from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik - USEK in Beirut, Lebanon.
