Cranford To Run Lottery For Full-Day Tuition-Based Kindergarten
Two full-day classes will be run if there is sufficient enrollment.

CRANFORD, NJ — The Cranford Board of Education will continue to hold two tuition-based full-day kindergarten classes for the 2021-2022 school year, pending sufficient enrollment. People can apply electronically using the link below.
Participation will be based on a lottery.
Children who will be 5 years old by next Oct. 1 and are Cranford residents are eligible for the full-day kindergarten program. The application can be found on www.cranfordschools.org at this link.

Applicants should be aware there is a tuition charge of $750 per month.
The application must be submitted by 4 p.m. on Jan. 5. Applications submitted after 4 p.m. on Jan. 5 will be placed on a waiting list.

Names are chosen through the use of a random number generator. You will be notified via email after Jan. 5 if you have been selected or placed on a waitlist.

Note that the locations of the full-day kindergarten programs are Bloomingdale Avenue School and Walnut Avenue School. Parents/Guardians will be responsible for transportation. Children attending the full day program will be placed in their home school for first grade.
Registration for half-day, full-day kindergarten and first grade children who are new to the Cranford Schools will be conducted virtually and/or by appointment at your child’s school beginning Feb. 1. Additional registration information can be found on our website, Facebook page and TV35 beginning in February.
