Cranford In The Snow: Reader Photos
From the parks to downtown, the nor'easter made for some picturesque scenes. And is a white Christmas on the way?
CRANFORD, NJ – A reader submitted photos to Patch after a nor'easter hit the Cranford area from Wednesday afternoon to early Thursday. (See them below or above.)
Doreen Schindler submitted the below photos of Hanson Park, McConnell Park, and downtown Cranford.
Over the course of the storm, Union County got more than 8 inches of snow in some areas, according to Accuweather. Spotters reported that Cranford got 6.4 inches and that Westfield got 5.6. Read more: Who got the most snow

While schools were closed Thursday, the district resumed hybrid instruction Friday.

The Accuweather forecast specifically for Cranford is here. It doesn't indicate more snow this weekend, but says there may be some on Dec. 25. Perhaps a white Christmas is on the way?
