Cranford Students In Top Quarter Of State For Average SAT Scores

CRANFORD, NJ — In a list of the average SAT scores for more than 300 high schools around New Jersey, Cranford students came out in the top 25 percent.

Cranford High School came in at number 70 on a list of 307 schools with the highest average SAT scores for the student body. The average in Cranford was 1148.

The SAT is among the factors that determines where a student can get into college. A perfect score would be a combined 1600, or 800 in each of reading and math.

Patch put together a list of each New Jersey high school's just-released average scores that the state released, and ranked them from top to bottom. There are also lists for just math and reading.
